It’s #Polish season folks!
As fans of Bridgeton As you may already know, the reign drama is soon entering its third season, which will follow a brand new love story between two of its already established characters – Penelope and Colin!
Well, today Netflix released brand new information about Bridgeton Season 3 that may interest you! This includes a cheeky teaser trailer from many of the Bridgeton Actors pointing the finger at us – I say!
As many of us have long suspected, Bridgeton Season 3 will revolve around Penelope Featherington (played by Nicola Coughlan) who decides to take a husband – preferably one that will give her enough independence to continue her double life as Lady Whistledown.
However, Penelope’s attempts on the marriage market quickly fail due to her lack of self-confidence. … Colin (with a new look and a serious sense of swagger) enters, eager to win back Penelope’s friendship. He therefore offers to accompany her on the path of trust and to help her find a husband this season.
What complicates Penelope even more is her rift with Eloise (played by Claudia Jessie), who has found a new girlfriend in a very unlikely place, and the fact that her growing presence in the bin makes her Lady Whistledown much more difficult alter ego a secret.
From the teaser trailer it looks like all of us Bridgeton Favorites are back for another ~season~, but there are also a few new faces to watch out for!
Daniel Francis enters combat as Marcus Anderson, a charismatic presence who lights up every room he enters, drawing the attention of certain matriarchs in the bin and the wrath of others.
He is joined by Sam Phillips as Lord Debling, a genius lord with unusual interests. Debling has both wealth and a peerage to bolster his eccentricity, so he certainly won’t be lacking in interest from young ladies this season.
Finally, James Phoon will play Harry Dankworth. What Dankworth lacks in wit and intelligence, he more than makes up for in genuine good looks. So, you know, no complaints here!
Bridgeton Season 3 has just started filming in London, with Jess Brownell taking over the role of showrunner from Chris Van Dusen, who directed the first two seasons. There’s no word on the release date yet, but rest assured we’ll keep you posted!
